The field of sport conditioning is being completely redefined to meet the demands of todays high performance athlete. In the past, the majority of athletes did little to train outside of playing their sport. Today, we recognize that the very nature of sport requires a combination of full-body strength, balance, agility and speed AND the ability to perform coordinated movements under unpredictable conditions.
Optimal performance and injury prevention is dependent on effective and efficient movement of the body and a strong core.
The clinic will focus on sport movements.
Agility, quickness, balance and reaction skills
Core power. (For dynamic performance and injury prevention, our core stabilizes to allow powerful leg and arm actions, leads into turns, absorbs stopping action and regulates balance) EXTREMELY importance for young soccer & football players.
Active stretching for injury prevention.
