I have known and trusted Connie Ness since 1980, and was absolutely thrilled when she decided to open and operate her own personal training business.  She is suited professionally for this like no other.  I refer clients from my company regularly to her and have yet to receive one complaint, only raving reviews.

 

I have been unable to run, walk, sit, drive, or stand without pain for three years - due to plantar fascitis in my right foot.  Since I have been running daily for health reasons since 1973, it has been an enormous mental, physical and spiritual loss for me to have my health handicapped by an impaired ability to function, and to be in almost constant pain.

After consulting with Connie Ness regarding my condition over the telephone, she booked me for one therapy session in her studio.  She patiently and efficiently taught me three exercises I could do to relieve my pain and regain full range of motion.  She provided me with visual/written materials, a book, websites, and other valuable materials.  Her approach was straightforward, humorous, professional, and compassionate.  She listened to me carefully, but did not allow me to ramble.  Connie has excellent professional boundaries - which I find imperative in our lines of work.

After faithfully following Connie's training, I experienced slight relief within 3 days, moderate pain relief within one month, and complete freedom from pain and full regain of my original functioning within two and one half months.  I am more than thrilled.  I now run pain free four miles daily, drive without pain or discomfort, get in and out of the car without pausing, and function in my profession and personal life without pain.

Last year I retired and one of the first things I decided to do was to at least listen to my doctor and start exercising (groan). I was fortunate enough to pick up Connie’s card and give her a call; this was approximately 8 months ago. Now I could give you a long litany but why would you read it, this is for the older person who is having difficulty walking, the person who avoids stairs and hunts for the elevator, the person who walks into a room and checks out which chair you can sit in and still be able to stand up when you need to please don’t feel alone because that was me and I know darn well that I’m not alone.
 
Now you must understand that isn’t the reason I called her it was for resistance training and oh, yes, I had all these excuses about my knees, my feet, and weight (we are all overweight). Connie listened and took me on; to my surprise the exercises actually began to work it was so exciting to be able to walk up stairs without the pain in my knees, reach the top and not be out of breath, (hey, I amazed my friends too) to move better to actually feel muscles begin to do what they were designed to do. We can all exercise but to do it correctly that’s where Connie is worth her weight in gold (hey, lucky us she doesn’t weight a lot) doing an exercise the right way is when you see the results, without injury. When an exercise wasn’t working (or I wasn’t doing it right), I could call her and she always found the time to get back to me and answer my questions.
 
We all need to be healthy and fit for as long as we can so, your reading this, why read any further call Connie and start taking care of yourself.

I have been seeing Connie Ness at Peak Fitness and have learned so much about my body and how it functions, about nutrition, and about taking care of myself.  Connie is very knowledgeable and experienced and gained my confidence immediately.  I am now stronger and feel so much better.

 

I learned about Peak Fitness through my local gym. Connie first interviewed me, then had me fill out a detailed application about my self and my challenges.  She recorded my weight and took thorough measurements to establish a baseline.  I was given a packet of information to read and “homework” and Connie set me up on a schedule to work one on one with her twice a week.

 

The workouts were hard and a little scary at first, but Connie is encouraging and effective.  She is a delight to work with and is high energy with a great sense of humor.  I could see and feel myself getting stronger as she continually upped the repetitions and weights and changed the exercises every 3 weeks.  I was surprised at how my body, at age 63, responded to being “moved and strengthened”.

 

Connie is committed to helping each person do well.  She gave me special exercises I could do while on vacation, encouraging me not to “vacation” my strength.  I even encouraged my husband to start a workout program with Connie and was very pleased with the results.

 

Connie is consistent and  reliable.   She  continues to educate herself about  health and fitness through classes and seminars, making learning for her students fun.
