Peak Physique Fitness Team Sport Conditioning
 
Soccer, track, football, & tennis teams recognize significant reduction in non-contact injuries with training emphasized by Peak Physique Fitness.
 

The field of sport conditioning is being completely redefined to meet the demands of today’s high performance athlete.  In the past, the majority of athletes did little to train outside of playing their sport.  Today, we recognize that the very nature of sport requires a combination of full-body strength, balance, agility and speed AND the ability to perform coordinated movements under unpredictable conditions.

 

Optimal performance and injury prevention is dependent on effective and efficient movement of the body and a strong core.

 

Peak Physique Fitness has developed a 3 hour sport movement clinic that is designed to teach the athletes as well as the coaches and parents, the fundamentals of efficient movement of the body and core.  This clinic is usually provided over 2 nights 1 week apart.  Athlete's parents are encouraged to come and learn with the athletes.  A complete notebook including all exercises performed during the clinic is provided.

 

The clinic will focus on sport movements.

 

–        Agility, quickness, balance  and reaction skills

–        Core power. (For dynamic performance and injury prevention, our core stabilizes to allow powerful leg and arm actions, leads into turns, absorbs stopping action and regulates balance) EXTREMELY importance for young soccer & football players.

–        Active stretching for injury prevention.
